    To help us continue our growth, we’re seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to join our team. An ideal candidate must have proven program management experience in a highly dynamic setting. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills must be second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries.

    The Program Coordinator aids the implementation of GRABB’s programs. The Program Coordinator is expected to run of existing programs and initiatives. As the Program Coordinator for GRABB Local Inc, they are expected to act as a professional, conscientious, and attentive ambassador for GRABB through all internal and external communications and community engagement.

    The Program Coordinator will support GRABB Local Inc executives and board, business partnerships and community engagement to support GRABB Local Inc’s entrepreneurs and participant network. This positive, energetic, and proactive leader shares a passion for “our why” and brings program, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills to help run our programs.

    The position is a Full time in-person position reporting to the CEO. Given the current pandemic, this will be hybrid and be done in-person with limited remote work along with occasional travel to attend conferences, meetings, and events. GRABB Local Inc staff will operate out of its HQ once construction is complete in Summer ‘23.

    GRABB Local Inc Mission Our Mission is to Empower Black entrepreneurs to launch, survive, sustain and scale their businesses. GRABB works to foster an ecosystem that creates prosperity and supports the revitalization of predominantly Black neighborhoods through entrepreneurship. GRABB works to expand opportunities for Black businesses in the Metro Grand Rapids area by assisting them with acquiring and leveraging Five forms of capital (Cultural, Human, Social, Intellectual and Financial) and creating awareness for Black businesses.

    Responsibilities of this Role

    Education and Experience:

    • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in project management, program management, volunteer coordination, or communications.
    • Proven ability to plan and manage programs for maximum efficiency and productivity.

    Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Working knowledge of data collection
    • Create performance metrics using business management software (CRM)
    • Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite software, CRM database software and Google Workspace
    • Have proven problem solving skills.
    • Strength in working in dynamic environments.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
    • Have appropriated demeanor, aptitude, and interpersonal skills to maintain effective work relations with all clients, staff, and volunteers. Professional and mature attitude; remains calm under pressure.
    • Have proven ability to collaborate with internal and external colleagues.

    Competencies:

    • Responsible for running existing programs
    • Oversees daily activities of program
    • Collaborate with executive management and board members in setting goals that promote program growth
    • Works closely with other team members
    • Actively demonstrates commitment to the GRABB Local’s vision, mission, and organizational goals

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $40,000.00 per year
